News broke on the 26th of a WD Green drive that boasted a healthy 2 terabytes of storage space. For those people stateside the drive appeared a day later. The drive is the largest single drive hard drive available anywhere, and kept pace with Samsung’s and Seagate’s largest competing drives. Drive index speed outpaced several other drives including competitor’s 1TB and 320GB drives. Access time was a little slower than others, but still up to par considering this drive is designed with lower power consumption in mind.

For the full benchmark results check out:
Western Digital 2TB Caviar Green Drive Preview

Don’t feel ashamed if you find yourself scratching your head wondering what you could possibly need all that space for, personally I’m stil trying to figure out how to fill a 500GB drive

Just want to take the time to wish everyone a happy holidays and to thank everyone in the Scenario Elite community for sticking around to see another year out. Even though our focus has changed dramatically over the years, I truly believe its has been the friendships and the continual support through out the community that has kept us together. I hope our community will see many more years out and to come to know many more new unique people. As of the Podcast, if you already haven’t noticed, I’ve taken a small break for the holidays and plan to pick up right after, we ring in the new year. As of my podcasting team, thanks a million for taking the time out of your busy lives to help me out in creating a podcast, that will hopefully reach a larger audience as we learn the tricks of the trade and fine tune what we have. Once again have a safe and happy holidays!

While flipping through channels I see the strangest commercial. It seems as if there is a “portal” that leads between I think it was North Korea and Japan. Anyways, I thought wow this looks awesome. It turns out that it was something called Telepresence by Cisco. This technology can be used for fun like in this youtube video or it can be very practical, like saving money on plane trips for business meetings by simply having telepresence in multiple offices. One of the features that makes this stand-out more than just a simple videoconference with webcams is that this is displayed using 1080p HD screens, making it seem like the person is right there in front of you.

Cloverfield had a Massive amount of hype for several reasons and one being that its trailer in the Transformers Movie last year didn’t have a title just a clip of this “thing” attacking the Empire State Building basically. No one could really even make out what it was just that a building got attacked or exploded, take your pick.
I happened to see Cloverfield the other day. You know, you go into the movie knowing barely anything except what you have heard around friends and the sort and then you see the movie and your still kinda of wondering what you just saw. Unless you know someone like me that is so much in depth with every movie he/she sees that they look up it up on the internet and find out as much as they can about it. My cousin happens to be my person just like that and he told me some secrets to look for. Most of them are argued over what they mean. For example if you look at the ending clip where a satellite or the monster falls into the ocean, which is kind of confusing because people argue over whether it was a satellite or a monster saying stuff like it was Rob’s company’s satellite and woke up the monster or that it had to be the monster falling from another planet. Also, another example of secrets in the movie that are argued over is after the credits it says “Help Us….” which I kinda thought like it said “Film It” along with other and play it backwards and most everyone agrees it says “It’s Still Alive…”. It is hard to pinpoint all the clues because of the producer being so quiet about the issue.
Some people want to see more. I’ve heard people say that it’s a saga of monsters movies or something along those lines. If you look it up on the internet you are sure to find many theories about this movie that aren’t properly answered because no one actually knows. I ,for one, want to see more of this because it doesn’t tell you much and at the end the monster gets bombed and the credits role so no one knows what happened.
One interesting thing is discussing who survived and why. I can tell you that Lily got away. When she got in the helicopter by herself the video camera cut out for a minute and no one was upset because of her helicopter crashing and Lily dieing or getting hurt or basically anything along those lines.
People could go one discussing this movie for days, but since it’s a review and I don’t think I can save it and work on it later lol (Japan o.O), I am going to end this. With so much hype, it was bound to be either a disappointment or one of the greatest things in the world to the people who watch this cinematic adventure. So I’m going to give this a 5/5 because I love these movies that make you think and search for clues and what not.

Thanks for reading.
-Mirage

PS: Sorry but there wasn’t much information about the monster to discuss. Not enough pictures for discussion either.
